Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at info@jullianaaraujo.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

My makeup style is classic, romantic, and soft, with a focus on enhancing natural beauty. I work with everything from very natural, minimal makeup to full glam, and I believe confidence looks different on everyone. Once I get to know your preferences and comfort level, we collaborate to create a look that feels authentic, beautiful, and completely you.

For weekend weddings (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday), there is a minimum of 4 total services required to book. This can be any combination — for example, 2 hair and 2 makeup, or the bride plus 3 bridesmaids, as long as it totals four services.

For weekday weddings (Monday–Thursday), there is no minimum service requirement. Also Discounts apply to Monday–Wednesday services.

There’s no “perfect” timeline, and that’s okay. I receive inquiries anywhere from a year and 8 months in advance to 5 months out, and both are completely normal. My biggest advice is to not feel rushed — take your time and book when you truly feel ready.

New England is a very popular place to get married, and vendors do tend to book quickly. I always suggest focusing first on the vendors that feel most important to you. If you fall in love with someone’s work and can’t imagine your wedding day without them there, that’s usually a good sign it’s time to book.

This depends on a few factors. I’m so lucky to work with an incredible team of hair and makeup artists who have been working together for years.

Each artist (including myself) can accommodate up to 8 services before an additional artist is needed. Some brides choose to add more artists to allow for a quicker finish time, while others may need an additional artist due to an early morning or specific desired completion time. In those cases, adding another artist helps ensure the morning runs smoothly and stress-free. After myself, each additional artist is $105.

I work with a wide range of high-end, professional makeup brands, including favorites like Dior, Charlotte Tilbury, Natasha Denona, MAC, Makeup by Mario, and Haus Labs, among many others. There are so many incredible brands I love to work with, and my promise to you is to always use luxury, high-quality products that perform beautifully and photograph flawlessly.

To get started, please send us an inquiry and we’ll reply with pricing and important details. If you decide to move forward, simply reply to our email letting us know you’d like to book, and we’ll send over a contract and detailed invoice.

A $500 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your date, with the remaining balance due two weeks before your wedding. Once the invoice and contract are sent, you’ll have 48 hours to submit payment and return the signed contract. If they aren’t received within that timeframe, the date will be released to the next interested client.

Invoices can be paid via credit card, debit card, or bank transfer.

Gratuity is not included in our pricing. While we are always incredibly grateful for any tips, we truly believe gratuity should be given only if you feel the desire to do so. It is never expected, but always deeply appreciated.

I’ll send you a link with available dates and times so you can choose what works best for your schedule. If you’re coming from out of state, I completely understand and we can coordinate your trial around the dates you’ll be in town.

I recommend scheduling your trial 3–4 months before your wedding. This is when your dress, colors, and overall vision are usually more finalized. Trials are so exciting, and it’s totally normal to want to do one early, but scheduling too far in advance can sometimes lead to second-guessing as styles and preferences evolve. My kit is also always being updated with new products, so closer to the wedding ensures we’re using the best and most current options for your look.

Yes! We travel throughout New England and beyond, and I’ve even had the pleasure of traveling out of the country for weddings.

Travel fees vary based on location. Local weddings close to Walpole, MA do not incur a travel fee. For other locations, travel rates are calculated based on mileage, gas, and tolls. Weddings located 130 miles or more from Walpole, MA require a hotel stay.

When inquiring, please include your wedding venue so we can provide an accurate and transparent travel quote. We always strive to keep our travel fees fair and reasonable.

Our trials are held in our NEW Bridal Studio located in Walpole, MA

Yes, I do! While availability can be more limited during peak wedding season due to travel for weddings, I’m always happy to accommodate when my schedule allows. Non-bridal event makeup is $150, takes approximately one hour, and is held at our studio. Each appointment also includes your choice of false lashes.

For Event Makeup please text me: 781-971-6634 to book.

Bridal makeup is scheduled for approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes, and bridal hair takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Each bridesmaid or bridal party service is scheduled for 45 minutes per hair or makeup service.

About one month before your wedding, we’ll create a customized timeline based on your desired finish time to ensure the morning runs smoothly and stress-free.

Absolutely not. You’re welcome to book makeup services on their own. At this time, we do not offer hair-only bookings, as our services are structured around makeup! However, hair can always be added alongside makeup!

This is a very common question, and the answer depends on the size of your bridal party and your timeline.

To secure your date, only the minimum of four services is required. If you anticipate more than eight services, I strongly recommend booking a second artist early to guarantee availability. I personally take only one wedding per day, so if your total services remain within eight, you can typically confirm your final headcount a couple of months before the wedding.

If you expect a larger bridal party (over eight or sixteen services) or have a short or early getting-ready window, it’s important to reserve additional artists as soon as possible. This ensures we can comfortably accommodate everyone and create a smooth, stress-free morning.

In short, you don’t need an exact headcount right away, but if you know your party will be larger or your timeline is tight, it’s best to secure additional artists right away so their availability is guaranteed.
